Most people calling a locksmith are worried about being quoted one number and charged another. We confirm the exact price on the phone before any work begins. For transparency, here are our starting prices. The final quotation depends on your vehicle and the type of key it takes.

Mobile service
The prices above are for work at our Gloucester location. If you would rather we came to your vehicle, mobile service starts at $60 and rises by distance band. We work out which band you are in and tell you the number on the phone before we set out, and it does not change when we arrive.
What moves the price
- The type of key. A basic cut key with no electronics is the simplest job we do. A transponder key adds a chip that has to be paired to your immobiliser. A push to start smart key costs more again, because the unit itself is more expensive and the programming takes longer.
- Your vehicle. Make, model and year decide which key you need. Most domestic and Asian vehicles are quick. Some European models take extra steps.
- Whether you still have a working key. This is the big one. Cutting a spare from an existing key is a far simpler job than starting from nothing with every key lost, which takes longer.
- Where the work happens. Prices above are at our location. Mobile starts at $60 on top.
